Usage

Compact reference card for a single third-party tool/site/service -- replaces the old "two-column wikitable" pattern for resource-listing pages such as Tools and Resources. Reuses the site's existing design tokens/link styling (see Template:Resource card/styles.css) rather than introducing new colours -- this is a new component within the existing EDFM theme, not a separate visual system.

{{Resource card
 |name=EDSM
 |fullname=Elite Dangerous Star Map
 |url=https://www.edsm.net/
 |description=Community-maintained database of star systems and bodies, built from commanders' journal uploads.
 |tag1=Star map|tag2=System data|tag3=Exploration
}}

Parameters:

  • name (required) -- the short/primary name, shown as the bold linked label.
  • fullname (optional) -- an expanded title shown smaller/muted next to the name (e.g. what an acronym stands for).
  • url (required) -- external URL; the name becomes a normal external link (site link colour + the standard small external-link arrow, not a custom icon).
  • description (required) -- one short paragraph. Don't invent capabilities the tool doesn't have -- if unsure, keep the description conservative.
  • tag1 through tag5 (all optional) -- short (1-3 word) category/capability labels shown as small chips under the description. Omit all of them for a plainer card (used for community/forum-type entries that aren't really "tools with capabilities").

Multiple cards side by side: wrap a run of cards in <div class="edfm-resource-grid">...</div> to let them sit two-up on wide screens and collapse to one column on narrow ones. Only do this when the cards' descriptions are similar enough in length to stay readable side by side -- prefer stacking (no grid wrapper) otherwise.
