Objective

Gain access to Didi Vatermann's Engineer services at Vatermann LLC in Leesti.

Prerequisites

Before you begin

• Discovery: Didi Vatermann is discovered through Selene Jean.
• Invitation: Reach the Pilots Federation Trade rank of Merchant or higher.
• Reach Grade 3 access and at least one-third progress toward Grade 4 with Selene Jean.
• Reach Merchant or higher in Trade Rank.
• Obtain a total of 50 units of Lavian Brandy.

Required Materials, Equipment, and Access

Obtaining Lavian Brandy The normal production source for Lavian Brandy is:

• System: Lave
• Station: Lave Station
• Commodity type: Rare commodity

Didi requires 50 units in total.

Rare commodities have limited availability, and Lave Station may not have all 50 units available to you at once. If necessary, the unlock can be completed through multiple deliveries to Vatermann LLC.

Tip

Lave and Leesti are neighbouring systems, so multiple deliveries are considerably less inconvenient here than for rare-good unlocks whose source and Engineer are much farther apart.

Player-owned Fleet Carriers may also offer Lavian Brandy through their commodity markets when stock has been made available by another Commander. Carrier inventories and prices are player-controlled and can change.

Field note

Do not rely on an old guide's exact Lavian Brandy allocation. Rare-good availability can vary; check the current stock at Lave Station when preparing the unlock.

Field note

Current Engineer data notes that station services may not become available immediately after Didi is unlocked. If the workshop or other expected services do not appear after completing the unlock, logging out and back in may make them available.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Procedure

1. Reach Grade 3 access and at least one-third progress toward Grade 4 with Selene Jean.
2. Receive Selene's referral to Didi Vatermann.
3. Reach Merchant or higher in Trade Rank.
4. Obtain a total of 50 units of Lavian Brandy.
5. Travel to Vatermann LLC on Leesti 1 a in Leesti.
6. Donate the 50 Lavian Brandy to Didi Vatermann.
7. Enter the Engineer workshop and begin increasing your reputation with Didi.

Expected Result

Expected result: Didi Vatermann is unlocked and available for Engineering services at their workshop.
