Cargo Rack
EDFM // Mining
The optional internal module that provides a ship's cargo capacity.
A Cargo Rack is an optional internal module that provides cargo capacity, measured in tonnes. Trade, mining, mission-running, and material/commodity-delivery Commanders (including delivering an Engineer's own unlock commodity) all depend on having enough cargo capacity fitted for the job at hand.
Overview
Cargo Racks compete for optional internal slots with every other optional internal module (Shield Generators, Hull Reinforcement Packages, Fuel Scoops, and so on), so a ship's maximum cargo capacity is a build choice rather than a fixed property of the hull.
