Liz Ryder specialises in explosive weapons and defensive armour — missiles, mine launchers, torpedo pylons, and hull reinforcement/armour plating. She's a second independent starting point alongside Felicity Farseer (the two don't require each other), and is the Engineer you need before Hera Tani and, further down the chain, Broo Tarquin become reachable.[1]

Location

  • System: Eurybia
  • Facility: Demolition Unlimited

How to Discover This Engineer

No discovery step applies — Liz Ryder is known from public sources without needing a referral from another Engineer.[1]

How to Receive an Invitation

Reach Cordial or Friendly reputation with the Eurybia Blue Mafia minor faction.[1]

How to Unlock This Engineer

  1. Reach Cordial or Friendly standing with the Eurybia Blue Mafia.
  2. Travel to Demolition Unlimited in Eurybia.
  3. Deliver 200 units of Landmines — a manufactured commodity rather than cargo bought from a market; commonly sourced by destroying other Landmines or from mission rewards.
  4. Confirm access at the Engineer's terminal.

Engineer Unlock Chain

Liz Ryder has no prerequisite Engineer. Reputation grade 3–4 with her opens the referral to Hera Tani, who in turn leads to Broo Tarquin and, per community chain guides, Tiana Fortune — the latter relationship hasn't been independently checked for this pass.[2]

Maximum grade per blueprint wasn't stated on the source checked.[1]

Experimental Effects

To be added — not confirmed in the sources checked for this pass.

Increasing Engineer Reputation

Reputation increases through crafting modifications at her workshop, in line with the general mechanic covered on the main Engineering page.

Blueprint Pinning

Fact: Liz Ryder's confirmed specialties are missile/mine/torpedo weapon variants and hull reinforcement/armour modifications, per Available Engineering above.

EDFM recommendation: Not yet made. A pinning recommendation needs the maximum-grade data above filled in first — see Elite Dangerous Field Manual:Engineering Architecture for why EDFM treats pinning guidance as editorial judgement, not a database fact.
