This Field Procedure covers only the steps to unlock Chloe Sedesi. For the Engineer's location, specialties, available blueprints, experimental effects, and reference details, see Chloe Sedesi.

Objective

Gain access to Chloe Sedesi's Engineer services at Cinder Dock in Shenve.

Prerequisites

Before you begin

• Discovery: Chloe Sedesi is discovered through Marco Qwent.
• Invitation: Reach a maximum distance of at least 5,000 light-years from your career start location.
• Reach Grade 3 access and at least one-third progress toward Grade 4 with Marco Qwent.
• Reach a maximum distance of at least 5,000 Ly from your career start location.
• Obtain 25 Sensor Fragments.
• Provide the 25 Sensor Fragments to Chloe Sedesi.

Required Materials, Equipment, and Access

Obtaining Sensor Fragments Sensor Fragments are pieces of Thargoid Sensors. Current material data lists them as obtainable from:

• destroyed Thargoid Sensors;
• Non-Human Signal Sources; and
• Thargoid sites.

Field note

Professor Palin also requires 25 Sensor Fragments. Unlocking one Engineer does not satisfy the other's donation requirement. If you plan to unlock both, you will need enough Sensor Fragments for both unlocks.

Field note

Current Engineer data notes that station services may not become available immediately after Chloe is unlocked. If the workshop or other expected services do not appear after completing the unlock, logging out and back in may make them available.

Step-by-Step Procedure

Procedure

1. Reach Grade 3 access and at least one-third progress toward Grade 4 with Marco Qwent.
2. Receive Marco's referral to Chloe Sedesi.
3. Reach a maximum distance of at least 5,000 Ly from your career start location.
4. Obtain 25 Sensor Fragments.
5. Travel to Cinder Dock in Shenve.
6. Provide the 25 Sensor Fragments to Chloe Sedesi.
7. Enter the Engineer workshop and begin increasing your reputation with Chloe.

Expected Result

Expected result: Chloe Sedesi is unlocked and available for Engineering services at their workshop.
