Usage
Standard licensing/attribution block for a File description page (i.e. the page for the image itself, at File:Name.png) — distinct from {{Screenshot caption}}, which is the short inline caption shown under an image on an article page. Use this one on the file page at upload time; use {{Screenshot caption}} wherever the image is actually displayed in an article.

|captured_by=— always fill this in with the actual uploader's commander name or handle. There is no generic default — if omitted, the file page visibly flags "Contributor name not specified" rather than silently crediting a placeholder, so a missing credit stays noticeable instead of looking answered.|source=— optional, default "In-game screenshot"; override for an original diagram/graphic (e.g. "Original diagram, not a screenshot").|game=— optional, default "Elite Dangerous"; override only if this is ever used for a different game mode/product (e.g. "Elite Dangerous: Odyssey" if that distinction matters for a specific image).
"Underlying assets" is not a parameter — see Elite Dangerous Field Manual:Legal and Trademark Notice for why every screenshot on this wiki carries the same Frontier Developments plc assets notice.
