The Power Distributor is a core internal module fitted to every ship. It draws from the Power Plant and divides that power between three capacitors — SYS (shields), ENG (engines/boost), and WEP (weapons) — each of which the Commander can manage in real time during flight.

Overview

Power Distributor capacity and recharge rate determine how often a Commander can boost, how quickly shields recover after dropping, and how long weapons can be fired before their capacitor runs dry. Because it affects three different subsystems at once, Power Distributor Engineering choices are usually made around a specific build's priorities rather than one universal "best" configuration.

Engineering

Engineer Maximum grade
Hera Tani Grade 3
The Dweller Grade 5

The Dweller, based at Black Hide in Wyrd, is EDFM's currently documented Grade 5 Power Distributor Engineer.
