Usage

Subst-only skeleton, not a live template. Start a new guide (Field Procedure) article by creating the page — plain page name, no namespace/subpage prefix, matching this wiki's flat-title convention, e.g. Unlocking Broo Tarquin, not Guide:Unlocking Broo Tarquin — and, as the very first edit, entering:

{{subst:New guide page}}

then saving and filling in the placeholders. Substituting (rather than transcluding live) means every guide ends up as normal, freely editable wikitext, same reasoning as {{New engineer page}}.

A guide is a procedure, not a second encyclopedia article. If the subject already has a Main-namespace reference article (e.g. Broo Tarquin, Multi-Cannon), do not re-explain what it is or what it specialises in here — link to the reference article instead and keep this page to the actionable checklist (requirements, steps, expected result). See Elite Dangerous Field Manual:Creating a Guide and Elite Dangerous Field Manual:Editorial Policy.

Do not invent requirements, quantities, or steps — leave a section as "to be added" until it's been checked against the live game or a reliable source, per Elite Dangerous Field Manual:Editorial Policy.
