How to contribute to EDFM.

== Current stage ==
EDFM is open to the public and actively under development. Anyone may create an account and contribute to the wiki.
Contributors can optionally sign in with Frontier (see [[Special:UserLogin]]) to link a Frontier account to their EDFM account. Normal Frontier sign-in is for login/linking only and does not request Companion API (<code>capi</code>) access or grant the '''Verified Commander''' badge by itself. Commander-name verification is available as a separate optional Preferences action: a logged-in user may choose '''Attach CMDR Name''' to request <code>auth capi</code>, read their Commander name once, and attach Verified Commander status. This is not required to edit &mdash; ordinary account creation and editing do not depend on Frontier verification. Editing/upload permissions may be limited to verified accounts or additional trusted groups in the future.
The site is still in an early stage, so many pages, templates, and systems are being expanded or refined as the project grows. Contributors are welcome to add information, improve existing pages, correct inaccuracies, and help develop the Field Manual.

How to contribute to EDFM.

Current stage

EDFM is open to the public and actively under development. Anyone may create an account and contribute to the wiki.

Contributors can optionally sign in with Frontier (see Special:UserLogin) to link a Frontier account to their EDFM account. Normal Frontier sign-in is for login/linking only and does not request Companion API (capi) access or grant the Verified Commander badge by itself. Commander-name verification is available as a separate optional Preferences action: a logged-in user may choose Attach CMDR Name to request auth capi, read their Commander name once, and attach Verified Commander status. This is not required to edit — ordinary account creation and editing do not depend on Frontier verification.
