This Field Procedure covers only the steps to unlock Hera Tani. For the Engineer's location, specialties, available blueprints, experimental effects, and reference details, see Hera Tani.
Objective
Gain access to Hera Tani's Engineer services at The Jet's Hole in Kuwemaki.
Prerequisites
- Discovery: Hera Tani is discovered through Liz Ryder.
- Invitation: Reach the Imperial Navy rank of Outsider or higher.
- Reach Grade 3 access and at least one-third progress toward Grade 4 with Liz Ryder.
- Reach Outsider or higher in Imperial Navy Rank.
- Obtain a total of 50 units of Kamitra Cigars.
Required Materials, Equipment, and Access
Obtaining Kamitra Cigars The normal production source for Kamitra Cigars is:
- System: Kamitra
- Station: Hammel Terminal
- Commodity type: Rare commodity
Hera requires 50 units in total.
Because Kamitra Cigars are a rare commodity, the quantity available directly from Hammel Terminal can be limited. If fewer than 50 are available, multiple purchases may be required.
Tip
Check your available allocation at Hammel Terminal before planning around a single 50-tonne trip. Rare-commodity availability is not the same as the large supply figures normally seen for ordinary market commodities.
Player-owned Fleet Carriers may also offer Kamitra Cigars if another Commander has stocked them for resale. Carrier inventory and prices are player-controlled and can change.

Field note
Current Engineer data notes that station services may not become available immediately after Hera is unlocked. If the workshop or other expected services do not appear after completing the unlock, logging out and back in may make them available.

- Reach Grade 3 access and at least one-third progress toward Grade 4 with Liz Ryder.
- Receive Liz's referral to Hera Tani.
- Reach Outsider or higher in Imperial Navy Rank.
- Obtain a total of 50 units of Kamitra Cigars.
- Travel to The Jet's Hole on Kuwemaki A 3 a in Kuwemaki.
- Donate the 50 Kamitra Cigars to Hera Tani.
- Enter the Engineer workshop and begin increasing your reputation with Hera.
