EDFM // Ships & Equipment / Modules
The optional internal module used to pull other ships out of supercruise.
The Frame Shift Drive Interdictor is an optional internal module used to interdict another ship travelling in supercruise, forcing it (and the interdicting ship) out into normal space. It is a separate module from the Frame Shift Drive itself, despite the similar name.
Overview
Interdiction plays out as a real-time minigame between the interdicting and interdicted ship; a higher-class, better-engineered Frame Shift Drive Interdictor improves the interdictor's chances. It is used by player and NPC pirates, bounty hunters, and PvP-focused Commanders alike, and is a common fit on combat and piracy-oriented ships.
