A Weapons commodity produced by Military economies, and Liz Ryder's unlock requirement.
Landmines are a Weapons commodity carried as ordinary cargo.[1] They are normally produced by surface ports and settlements with a Military economy.[1]
Why it matters for Engineering
Liz Ryder requires 200 units of Landmines to unlock her Engineering workshop at Demolition Unlimited in Eurybia. As an ordinary commodity, each unit occupies one tonne of cargo space — transporting the full 200-unit requirement in a single trip needs 200 tonnes of cargo capacity, though the delivery can be split across multiple trips.
Acquisition
Landmines are bought at commodity markets, most consistently at planetary surface ports and settlements with a Military economy.[1] Use a current commodity-market search rather than a fixed station list, since which stations stock Landmines and in what quantity changes over time.
Important
Landmines are prohibited cargo in some systems, though not universally. Check the legal status of your cargo before transporting them through unfamiliar jurisdictions.[1]
Player-owned Fleet Carriers may also carry Landmines if another Commander has stocked them for resale; carrier inventory and prices are player-controlled and can change.
