A Food rare commodity produced at Futen Spaceport in Fujin, and Broo Tarquin's unlock requirement.
Fujin Tea is a Food rare commodity produced exclusively by Futen Spaceport in the Fujin system (not to be confused with Broo Tarquin's own system, Muang).[1] It is legal to carry in every system.[1]
Why it matters for Engineering
Broo Tarquin requires 50 units of Fujin Tea to unlock his Engineering workshop at Broo's Legacy in Muang. As a commodity, each unit occupies one tonne of cargo space.
Acquisition
Like all rare commodities, Fujin Tea has a single fixed production source — Futen Spaceport in Fujin — and follows rare-goods stocking rules rather than an ordinary market's supply:[1]
- Only a small batch is available at any one time (allocation is typically around 5 units per visit, not the full 50).
- Stock replenishes gradually while docked, up to a per-visit cap, so waiting at the station between purchases can extend a single trip's total.
- Rares stop restocking once your hold already contains your maximum allocation, so reaching 50 units normally means either waiting out several restock cycles in one visit or making repeat visits to Futen Spaceport.
Tip
Because Fujin Tea only originates from Futen Spaceport, plan the trip around that one station rather than searching general commodity markets — ordinary market searches will not turn up rare goods the way they do standard commodities.
Player-owned Fleet Carriers may also carry Fujin Tea if another Commander has stocked them for resale; carrier inventory and prices are player-controlled and can change.
