Enhanced Tracking
Enhanced Tracking improves the suit's basic line-of-sight analysis function, allowing NPCs to be analysed from farther away and improving the speed of that analysis.

The current unambiguous range modifier is:

* +100% line-of-sight analysis range

The current recipe is:

* 5 Topographical Surveys
* 5 Stellar Activity Logs
* 5 Spectral Analysis Data
* 3 Transmitter
* 3 Circuit Board
* 750,000 CR

Other Engineers currently providing Enhanced Tracking include:

* Oden Geiger
* Rosa Dayette

Once an NPC has been analysed, the suit can continue displaying useful information about that person through the radar interface.

This can be helpful when:

* locating a mission target;
* identifying guards before entering restricted areas;
* planning a covert route;
* keeping track of settlement personnel; or
* identifying an NPC before attempting to clone an access profile.

Enhanced Tracking affects the suit's personnel-analysis function; it should not be treated as a general increase to every scanner or tool carried by the suit.

Extra Backpack Capacity
Extra Backpack Capacity doubles the capacity of all three sections of the suit's material backpack.

The current modifiers are:

* +100% Data capacity
* +100% Component capacity
* +100% Item capacity

The current recipe is:

* 5 Weapon Inventory
* 5 Chemical Inventory
* 5 Digital Designs
* 5 Epoxy Adhesive
* 3 Memory Chip
* 750,000 CR

Other Engineers currently providing Extra Backpack Capacity include:

* Wellington Beck
* Rosa Dayette

The modification increases the suit's Engineering-material backpack. It does not increase weapon ammunition; Extra Ammo Capacity is a separate suit modification.

Material collection
Extra Backpack Capacity is particularly valuable while gathering Odyssey Engineering materials because it allows more:

* physical Goods and Assets;
* Components; and
* downloaded Data

to be carried before transferring them to storage.

Greater Range
Greater Range increases a handheld weapon's effective range by 50%.

The material recipe depends on the weapon manufacturer.

Kinematic Armaments weapons
The current recipe is:

* 10 Ballistics Data
* 10 Topographical Surveys
* 10 Metal Coil
* 10 RDX
* 5 Weapon Component
* 500,000 CR

Manticore weapons
The current recipe is:

* 10 Chemical Formulae
* 15 Mineral Survey
* 10 Motor
* 10 Electromagnet
* 5 Electrical Fuse
* 500,000 CR

Takada weapons
The current recipe is:

* 5 Stellar Activity Logs
* 8 Risk Assessments
* 8 Micro Transformer
* 3 Optical Lens
* 3 Circuit Board
* 500,000 CR

Other Engineers currently providing Greater Range include:

* Wellington Beck
* Rosa Dayette

Greater Range does not automatically make every weapon better. A close-range weapon whose normal engagement distance is already well inside its effective range may gain more practical value from another modification.

Manticore weapons
Greater Range can be particularly useful on Manticore plasma weapons because their effective engagement envelope is comparatively important to their handling.

For a weapon deliberately built for distance, Greater Range can also pair with Scope.

Reduced Tool Battery Consumption
Reduced Tool Battery Consumption reduces the suit energy consumed by applicable tool functions.

The current recipe is:

* 5 Reactor Output Review
* 3 Electrical Fuse
* 5 Micro Transformer
* 8 Electrical Wiring
* 500,000 CR

Other Engineers currently providing Reduced Tool Battery Consumption include:

* Wellington Beck
* Rosa Dayette

The modification can also have value on other suits whose powered tools are used frequently.

Reduced Tool Consumption vs Improved Battery Capacity
Improved Battery Capacity and Reduced Tool Battery Consumption solve related but different problems:

* Improved Battery Capacity increases the suit's entire energy reserve by 50%.
* Reduced Tool Battery Consumption specifically reduces energy spent by applicable tool functions.

Improved Battery Capacity is therefore more broadly useful across all suit-energy use, while Reduced Tool Battery Consumption becomes more attractive when powered tools account for a significant portion of the suit's energy consumption.

Stability
Stability reduces recoil from a handheld weapon.

The current modifier is:

* +30% Stability

The current recipe is:

* 5 Mining Analytics
* 8 Risk Assessments
* 5 Viscoelastic Polymer
* 5 Micro Hydraulics
* 500,000 CR

Other Engineers currently providing Stability include:

* Oden Geiger
* Rosa Dayette

Stability can also complement Scope or Greater Range on a weapon intended for sustained accurate fire at longer distances.

Referring Kit Fowler
After Domino Green has been unlocked, provide her with 5 doses of Push to receive the referral to Kit Fowler.

Obtaining Push
Push is a physical Odyssey Good described as a recreational drug.

Current material data lists Push at:

* Irregular Markers points of interest; and
* surface crash sites.

Because Push is a physical Good rather than Data, the five doses must be carried and handed directly to Domino.

Push is not currently used in ordinary suit or weapon modification recipes; its Engineering-progression use is Domino's referral to Kit Fowler.

Bartender trade offers may also provide a way to obtain Push when appropriate offers are available, but bartender inventories and trade opportunities can vary.

Once the five doses have been provided, Kit Fowler becomes known.

Continuing to Kit Fowler
After Domino refers you to Kit, Kit has a separate unlock requirement.

Current Engineer data lists:

* Discover Kit Fowler: provide Domino Green with 5 Push.
* Unlock Kit Fowler: sell 5 Opinion Polls to bartenders.
* Discover Yarden Bond: provide Kit with 5 Surveillance Equipment.

See Kit Fowler for the complete next step.

Increasing Engineer Reputation
Not applicable to Odyssey Engineers in the same way as ship Engineers.

Domino Green does not use the Grade 1–5 Engineer-reputation progression found at ship Engineer workshops.

Once Domino has been unlocked, her modifications can be installed provided that:

* the equipment is compatible;
* the suit or weapon has an unused modification slot; and
* you possess the required Odyssey materials and credits.

The suit or weapon itself is upgraded separately through Pioneer Supplies.

Likewise, Domino's referral to Kit Fowler is not triggered by increasing Engineer reputation. It is triggered specifically by providing 5 Push.

See Odyssey Engineering for the complete on-foot Engineering system.

Experimental Effects
Experimental Effects
To be added — not confirmed in the sources checked for this pass.

Increasing Engineer Reputation
Not applicable.
Reputation increases through crafting modifications at their workshop, in line with the general mechanic covered on the main Engineering page.

Odyssey suit and handheld-weapon Engineering does not use the separate ship-module Experimental Effects system.

Domino's five modifications are themselves the permanent modifications installed onto the equipment.

Blueprint Pinning
Blueprint Pinning
Fact: Domino Green's confirmed specialty area is Environmental and suit enhancements.

EDFM recommendation: Not yet made. A pinning recommendation needs the specific modification and maximum-grade data above filled in first — see Elite Dangerous Field Manual:Engineering Architecture for why EDFM treats pinning guidance as editorial judgement, not a database fact.
Not applicable.

Odyssey modifications cannot be pinned for Remote Engineering in the same manner as ship Engineering blueprints.

A suit or weapon must be taken directly to Domino Green or another Odyssey Engineer offering the desired modification.

Recommended Engineering
Domino's modification set is especially useful for utility-focused Maverick suits and ranged weapons.

Maverick Suit
For a Maverick Suit used primarily for settlement missions, salvage, material collection, and infiltration:

Reduced Tool Battery Consumption is another strong utility choice for a Maverick that spends significant time cutting panels, manipulating settlement systems, and performing other tool-heavy work.

Enhanced Tracking becomes more valuable on a Maverick designed specifically for occupied-settlement infiltration.

A utility-oriented Maverick could therefore reasonably use all three, depending on the intended role:

* Extra Backpack Capacity — material collection
* Reduced Tool Battery Consumption — tool endurance
* Enhanced Tracking — occupied-settlement awareness

The fourth Grade 5 slot can then be reserved for another Engineer's modification such as Night Vision, Improved Battery Capacity, Improved Jump Assist, or Quieter Footsteps.

Artemis Suit
Domino's suit modifications are generally less central to an exploration-focused Artemis Suit.

Reduced Tool Battery Consumption can help with powered tool use, while Extra Backpack Capacity and Enhanced Tracking normally provide less direct exobiology value than modifications such as:

* Night Vision
* Improved Battery Capacity
* Improved Jump Assist
* Increased Sprint Duration

Dominator Suit
A combat-focused Dominator Suit generally has stronger combat-specific options than Domino's suit modifications.

Enhanced Tracking can have some tactical value, but limited modification slots usually favour survivability, ammunition, mobility, or shield-related upgrades on a dedicated combat suit.

Weapons
Domino provides two weapon modifications:

* Greater Range
* Stability

A ranged automatic weapon may benefit from both, but using two permanent modification slots on range and recoil should be a deliberate build choice.

What Domino Cannot Modify
Domino currently provides five modification types:

* Enhanced Tracking — suit
* Extra Backpack Capacity — suit
* Greater Range — weapon
* Reduced Tool Battery Consumption — suit
* Stability — weapon

Domino Green is an Odyssey Engineer based at The Jackrabbit in the Orishis system. She is an independent starting Engineer and does not require a referral from another Engineer.[1]

Domino provides Enhanced Tracking, Extra Backpack Capacity, Greater Range, Reduced Tool Battery Consumption, and Stability.[1]

Field note

Domino is one of three independent starting Odyssey Engineers in the Bubble, alongside Hero Ferrari and Jude Navarro. All three are common knowledge and can be pursued without first unlocking another Odyssey Engineer.[2]

Odyssey Engineering is separate from ship Engineering. Suits and handheld weapons have equipment grades and modification slots rather than the Grade 1–5 Engineer-reputation progression used by ship Engineers.

Location

  • System: Orishis
  • Settlement: The Jackrabbit
  • Body: Orishis 4
  • Distance from arrival: approximately 988 Ls
  • Engineer type: Odyssey Engineer
  • Prerequisite Engineer: None
  • System permit required: No

The Jackrabbit is a surface Engineer base on Orishis 4.[3]

The facility includes a concourse, Pioneer Supplies, bartender, Frontline Solutions, ship services, and Domino's Engineer workshop.[3]

How to Discover Domino Green

Domino Green is common knowledge and does not require a referral from another Engineer.[1]

She can therefore be pursued independently of the other starting Odyssey Engineer branches.

Field note

Hero Ferrari, Jude Navarro, and Domino Green do not need to be unlocked in any particular order. Progress toward their requirements can be worked on independently.

How to Receive an Invitation

There is no separate invitation requirement for Domino Green.

Her access requirement is to travel at least 100 light-years in shuttles.[1]

How to Unlock Domino Green

The unlock requirements are summarized in the discovery and invitation sections above.

Important

The requirement is 100 light-years travelled by shuttle. Flying the same distance in your own ship, travelling in an SRV, or walking on a planetary surface does not substitute for the shuttle requirement.

Field note

The 100 light-years are cumulative. They do not need to be completed as a single 100-light-year booking.

For the complete step-by-step process, see Unlocking Domino Green.

Odyssey Engineering at Domino Green

Odyssey Engineering works differently from ship Engineering.

Suits and handheld weapons have an equipment grade. Higher grades provide additional modification slots:

Equipment grade Modification slots
Grade 1 0
Grade 2 1
Grade 3 2
Grade 4 3
Grade 5 4

Domino installs individual modifications into those available slots.

Her modifications do not progress through Grade 1–5 Engineer reputation.

Important

A Grade 5 Maverick Suit does not receive a "Grade 5 Extra Backpack Capacity" modification. Grade 5 describes the suit itself and provides four modification slots; Extra Backpack Capacity occupies one of those slots as a single permanent modification.

See Odyssey Engineering for equipment grades, modification slots, upgrading, and Engineering-material mechanics.

Available Engineering

Domino currently provides five Odyssey modifications.[1]

Modification Equipment Primary effect
Enhanced Tracking Suit Increases the range and speed of the suit's basic scan function
Extra Backpack Capacity Suit Doubles carried Data, Component, and Item capacity
Greater Range Handheld weapon Increases effective weapon range by 50%
Reduced Tool Battery Consumption Suit Reduces energy consumption from applicable suit-tool functions
Stability Handheld weapon Reduces weapon recoil

Enhanced Tracking

Enhanced Tracking improves the suit's basic line-of-sight analysis function, allowing NPCs to be analysed from farther away and improving the speed of that analysis.[1]

The current unambiguous range modifier is:

  • +100% line-of-sight analysis range[1]

The current recipe is:

Other Engineers currently providing Enhanced Tracking include:

Tip

EDFM recommendation: Enhanced Tracking is primarily a settlement-operations and infiltration modification.

Its doubled analysis range makes it easier to identify and track NPCs from a safer distance before moving through an occupied settlement.

Once an NPC has been analysed, the suit can continue displaying useful information about that person through the radar interface.

This can be helpful when:

  • locating a mission target;
  • identifying guards before entering restricted areas;
  • planning a covert route;
  • keeping track of settlement personnel; or
  • identifying an NPC before attempting to clone an access profile.

Field note

Current external blueprint data describes Enhanced Tracking as increasing both range and speed. The +100% analysis-range value is clear, but the displayed analysis-time field is internally inconsistent with the stated faster-analysis effect. EDFM therefore does not assign a numerical scan-speed percentage here.[1]

Enhanced Tracking affects the suit's personnel-analysis function; it should not be treated as a general increase to every scanner or tool carried by the suit.

Extra Backpack Capacity

Extra Backpack Capacity doubles the capacity of all three sections of the suit's material backpack.[1]

The current modifiers are:

  • +100% Data capacity
  • +100% Component capacity
  • +100% Item capacity[1]

The current recipe is:

Other Engineers currently providing Extra Backpack Capacity include:

Tip

EDFM recommendation: Extra Backpack Capacity is one of Domino's strongest general-purpose modifications for a Maverick Suit.

A Maverick used for settlement looting, material collection, salvage, and Restore missions regularly fills its backpack. Doubling all three material-capacity categories substantially reduces trips back to a ship, SRV, or storage interface.

The modification increases the suit's Engineering-material backpack. It does not increase weapon ammunition; Extra Ammo Capacity is a separate suit modification.

Material collection

Extra Backpack Capacity is particularly valuable while gathering Odyssey Engineering materials because it allows more:

  • physical Goods and Assets;
  • Components; and
  • downloaded Data

to be carried before transferring them to storage.

Field note

The modification affects the suit's temporary carried backpack capacity. It does not increase the Commander's total material-storage limits.

Greater Range

Greater Range increases a handheld weapon's effective range by 50%.[1]

The material recipe depends on the weapon manufacturer.

Kinematic Armaments weapons

The current recipe is:

Manticore weapons

The current recipe is:

Takada weapons

The current recipe is:

Other Engineers currently providing Greater Range include:

Tip

EDFM recommendation: Greater Range is most useful on weapons whose normal effective range limits the way they are intended to be used.

It is particularly relevant to weapons configured for outdoor settlement combat or deliberate ranged engagement.

Important

Odyssey weapon modification slots are permanent and limited. Decide the weapon's intended role before committing a slot solely to extending its range.

Reduced Tool Battery Consumption

Reduced Tool Battery Consumption reduces the suit energy consumed by applicable tool functions.[1]

The current recipe is:

Other Engineers currently providing Reduced Tool Battery Consumption include:

Tip

EDFM recommendation: Reduced Tool Battery Consumption is particularly useful on a Maverick Suit used heavily for settlement work.

The Maverick's Arc Cutter and other powered-tool activity make suit-energy management more relevant during prolonged salvage, infiltration, Restore, and material-collection sessions.

The modification can also have value on other suits whose powered tools are used frequently.

Field note

Current external blueprint data correctly describes the modification as reducing tool energy consumption, but its displayed numerical "tool energy drain multiplier" field does not provide a reliable literal percentage for the reduction. EDFM therefore describes the verified functional effect without assigning an unsupported percentage.[1]

Reduced Tool Consumption vs Improved Battery Capacity

Improved Battery Capacity and Reduced Tool Battery Consumption solve related but different problems:

  • Improved Battery Capacity increases the suit's entire energy reserve by 50%.
  • Reduced Tool Battery Consumption specifically reduces energy spent by applicable tool functions.

Improved Battery Capacity is therefore more broadly useful across all suit-energy use, while Reduced Tool Battery Consumption becomes more attractive when powered tools account for a significant portion of the suit's energy consumption.

Tip

For a dedicated settlement-looting Maverick, combining Extra Backpack Capacity with Reduced Tool Battery Consumption creates a strong utility pairing: one extends how much can be collected, while the other improves endurance during tool-heavy work.

Stability

Stability reduces recoil from a handheld weapon.[1]

The current modifier is:

  • +30% Stability[1]

The current recipe is:

Other Engineers currently providing Stability include:

Tip

EDFM recommendation: Stability is most useful on weapons whose recoil makes repeated shots difficult to keep on target.

Automatic and rapid-fire weapons generally have more opportunity to benefit from recoil reduction than weapons used primarily for isolated deliberate shots.

Stability can also complement Scope or Greater Range on a weapon intended for sustained accurate fire at longer distances.

Field note

Stability addresses recoil. It is different from Improved Hip Fire Accuracy, which improves the weapon's accuracy when fired without aiming down sights.

Engineer Unlock Chain

Domino Green is an independent starting point in the Odyssey Engineer network.

Her branch is:

Domino Green
└── Kit Fowler
    └── Yarden Bond

Kit Fowler is discovered through Domino Green.[4]

Kit subsequently leads to Yarden Bond.[2]

Referring Kit Fowler

After Domino Green has been unlocked, provide her with 5 doses of Push to receive the referral to Kit Fowler.[1]

Important

Push is not required to unlock Domino herself.

The two requirements are separate:

  • Unlock Domino Green: travel at least 100 light-years in shuttles.
  • Discover Kit Fowler: provide Domino with 5 Push.

Obtaining Push

Push is a physical Odyssey Good described as a recreational drug.[5]

Current material data lists Push at:

  • Irregular Markers points of interest; and
  • surface crash sites.[5]

Because Push is a physical Good rather than Data, the five doses must be carried and handed directly to Domino.

Push is not currently used in ordinary suit or weapon modification recipes; its Engineering-progression use is Domino's referral to Kit Fowler.[5]

Tip

If you intend to continue this branch, reserve the first 5 Push you obtain rather than selling or discarding them.

Field note

Receiving Domino's referral does not automatically unlock Kit Fowler. It only reveals the Engineer and allows you to begin satisfying Kit's own unlock condition.

  • the equipment is compatible;
  • the suit or weapon has an unused modification slot; and
  • you possess the required Odyssey materials and credits.

The suit or weapon itself is upgraded separately through Pioneer Supplies.

Likewise, Domino's referral to Kit Fowler is not triggered by increasing Engineer reputation. It is triggered specifically by providing 5 Push.[1]

See Odyssey Engineering for the complete on-foot Engineering system.

Experimental Effects

Not applicable.

Odyssey suit and handheld-weapon Engineering does not use the separate ship-module Experimental Effects system.

Domino's five modifications are themselves the permanent modifications installed onto the equipment.

Blueprint Pinning

Not applicable.

Odyssey modifications cannot be pinned for Remote Engineering in the same manner as ship Engineering blueprints.

A suit or weapon must be taken directly to Domino Green or another Odyssey Engineer offering the desired modification.

Field note

Unlocking Domino therefore does not make Extra Backpack Capacity, Greater Range, Stability, or her other modifications remotely available through Pioneer Supplies or another station.

Domino's modification set is especially useful for utility-focused Maverick suits and ranged weapons.

Maverick Suit

For a Maverick Suit used primarily for settlement missions, salvage, material collection, and infiltration:

Tip

EDFM recommendation: Extra Backpack Capacity is Domino's strongest broadly useful Maverick modification.

Doubling Data, Component, and Item capacity directly improves the suit's primary material-collection role and substantially reduces trips back to storage.

  • Extra Backpack Capacity — material collection
  • Reduced Tool Battery Consumption — tool endurance
  • Enhanced Tracking — occupied-settlement awareness

The fourth Grade 5 slot can then be reserved for another Engineer's modification such as Night Vision, Improved Battery Capacity, Improved Jump Assist, or Quieter Footsteps.

Artemis Suit

Domino's suit modifications are generally less central to an exploration-focused Artemis Suit.

Reduced Tool Battery Consumption can help with powered tool use, while Extra Backpack Capacity and Enhanced Tracking normally provide less direct exobiology value than modifications such as:

Dominator Suit

A combat-focused Dominator Suit generally has stronger combat-specific options than Domino's suit modifications.

Enhanced Tracking can have some tactical value, but limited modification slots usually favour survivability, ammunition, mobility, or shield-related upgrades on a dedicated combat suit.

Weapons

Domino provides two weapon modifications:

Tip

EDFM recommendation: Choose between Greater Range and Stability based on the actual limitation of the weapon.

Use Greater Range when effective range is constraining the build. Use Stability when recoil is the larger problem.

A ranged automatic weapon may benefit from both, but using two permanent modification slots on range and recoil should be a deliberate build choice.

What Domino Cannot Modify

Domino currently provides five modification types:

  • Enhanced Tracking — suit
  • Extra Backpack Capacity — suit
  • Greater Range — weapon
  • Reduced Tool Battery Consumption — suit
  • Stability — weapon[1]

Other commonly useful modifications require different Engineers.

Examples include:

See Odyssey Engineer Modifications for the complete Engineer-by-modification matrix.
